## Version and documentation scope

```bash
deeep --version
deeep update
```

The audited CLI source identifies itself as **v1.0.0**. These docs cover source changes through commit `d518e9a`, including Storybook hosting and discovery registration. That source version alone does not confirm which changes are included in a downloaded installer. Use `deeep sync --help` to check whether your installation offers the hosting flags.

## Changes covered in this documentation

| Area | Behavior |
| --- | --- |
| Commands | Authentication, project creation/linking, sync and dry-run, status, account information, logout, and updates. |
| Discovery setup | Initialization records CLI or Storybook discovery on the project independently of component-sync success. |
| Git validation | Component uploads identify branch and commit and require committed source paths matching the connected repository. |
| Content tracking | Canonical component content hashes and manifest hashes support repeatable sync requests. |
| Packages | Components include package declarations from their owning package manifest, including monorepo packages. |
| Storybook metadata | Stories, JSON-safe args, argTypes, supported preview paths, and optional deployed URLs accompany component metadata. |
| Storybook discovery | Improved index detection, typed CSF, workspace imports, aliases, barrel re-exports, and legacy/unknown index handling. |
| Storybook hosting | Optional build/upload after sync, explicit hosting flags, saved public URLs, configurable timeouts, dependency recovery, and monorepo/Yarn PnP handling. |
| Upload reliability | Retried transient uploads, server-provided content types and object ACL headers, and useful upload failure details. |

See [Storybook discovery and hosting](/guides/storybook), [Component index and sync data](/reference/component-index), and [Environment and local data](/reference/environment) for the configuration and limits.
